When we studied the unit on fossils we got a booklet with the names of different fossils, and we had to research all of the fossils and record what era/period they came from, what it was like during that era/period (in a paragraph), and what time the creature from which the fossils originated from lived and when it died out. We got to study animal and plant fossils, going back all the way to the time of the dinosaurs!
